The Bryant is a 62-unit affordable housing facility located in the South Bronx. The apartment complex was developed to create a safe, stable community for homeless domestic violence survivors. Niles Advertising was hired by the general contractor to produce wayfinding signage for apartment units, floor directional signage, and signage a multi-purpose room for resident meetings and events, a children’s room, a landscaped backyard with a children’s play area, a laundry room overlooking a green roof, offices for support services staff, surveillance signage, and more.

The NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee along with the National Football League launched Business Connect, a community outreach effort, to assist local Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) by providing networking and access for participants to apply for Super Bowl procurement process. Niles Advertising was named as one of the New York businesses who secured a contract for Super Bowl XLVIII to provide displays, event signage and traffic control signage. In addition, we provided marketing collateral materials for the “Big Game.”

Located in the Bronx, Eugenio María de Hostos Community College of the City University of New York is a public community college. Serving in a subcontractor capacity, Niles Advertising successfully managed the design, fabrication, and installation of more than 375 interior signs for 4th and 5th floors of the college’s main campus building. The project required wayfinding signage for classrooms, offices, labs, libraries, stairs, restrooms, and utility closets, as well as directional and connecting pathway signs.

The administrative offices of the New York City Department of Homeless Services are located at 33 Beaver Street, where the agency occupies six floors of the building. To ensure that both visitors and staff have a stress-free wayfinding experience, Niles Advertising produced interior wayfinding signage consisting of metal dimensional letters in the building lobby, wall directories in the lobby and on six floors, custom vinyl lettering on glass entrance doors, custom room and office identity signs, and custom cubicle nameplate signs.

The Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is a public community college in New York City. From supplied artwork, Niles Advertising produced and installed a custom dimensional logo sign for the College’s BMCC Express reception area. The multi-dimensional logo sign gave character to the program’s location, while reinforcing the BMCC branding.

The New York City Department of Finance is the revenue service, taxation agency and recorder of deeds for New York City. To fulfill the agency’s many signage challenges, Niles Advertising managed the design, fabrication, and installation of a governmental bronze plaque for the City Sheriff's Offices, privacy distraction graphics and security surveillance signage for administrative offices, and safety signage for the agency’s parking garage. In addition, we designed and installed warehouse aisle markers and floor decals for distancing during the Covid Pandemic.

The City University of New York is the largest urban university system in the United States, comprising 25 campuses. To accommodate the expanding pool of employees, CUNY retained Niles Advertising to produce and install cubical and office signs with changeable name slots, and conference room signs with digital printed graphics, tactile letters, and braille.

The Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings is New York City’s central, independent administrative law court. To accommodate their various signage requirements, Niles Advertising produced privacy distraction graphics for judge’s offices, conference rooms, and administrative offices. In addition, we produced and installed vinyl lettering on glass partitions and pathway doors, an etched metal plaque and dimensional letters for their waiting areas, and 96 custom signs for administrative judge’s offices.

The Maritime College is part of the State University of New York system and is one of only seven degree-granting maritime academies in the United States. Serving in a subcontractor capacity, Niles Advertising produced wayfinding signage for the rebuilding of the Vander Clute Student Hall. The wayfinding signage package consists of 43 room identity signs, mounting of a 10’ x 8’ school insignia decal, and color coded painted stainless steel dimensional letters on the building’s exterior wall.

Surrey Coop Apartments is a multi-building residential complex in the Bronx. Niles Advertising was contracted to produce a branding strategy to attract potential tenants, build trust with existing tenants, and increase property value. We began by redesigning their logo, producing exterior post signs at the entrances of their four properties, and two logo wall plaques on the east and west ends of the development. In addition, we produced a stationery system, bi-monthly newsletters, branded aprons for their annual cookout events, and a state-of-the-art interactive website.
